“BEHP 1012: It Is Not All About Reinforcement or Is It? Discriminating between Motivating Operations and Discriminative Stimuli: A Conceptual Analysis of the Operant Four-term Contingency”
September 12th, 10:00am
Discriminating between motivating operations (MOs) and discriminative stimuli is a critical skill that can make the difference between designing effective or ineffective interventions. Unfortunately, many have found the topic obtuse or daunting. This presentation provides explicit instruction on the topic by using every day examples and other heuristic techniques. The difference between MOs related to reinforcement and MOs related to punishment, and the difference between unconditioned MOs and the various types of conditioned MOs will be emphasized.
The cost of these webinars is $42.00 for the video session or broadcast session and $12.00 for the discussion session.  For current information on available webinars, and direct links to register, visit http://uc.fit.edu/pdp/programs/aba/ceu.php.
