Personnel Development Partnership at FGCU collaborating on a new IDEA

Recruiting, Retaining and Training Exceptional Student Educators (ESE) in SW Florida

Personnel Development Partnership supports an array of programs, projects, activities, and events to support the recruitment, retention, and specialized training of the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) workforce in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties.

Personnel Development Partnership is managed by and through its’ Regional Council. The Partnership is part of the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education and Support Services personnel development system. The Partnership is funded with federal IDEA discretionary dollars which flow through the State of Florida Department of Education. The Regional Partnership is housed in the College of Education at Florida Gulf Coast University.
