2010 Research-to-Practice Symposium “Parents and School: The Necessary Conspiracy”

March 26, 2010

The Florida PIRC at USF hosts an annual statewide symposium which features a recognized national or regional authority discussing the latest research on important parent involvement issues for Florida’s educators and parents. The Research-to-Practice Symposium provides school, district, state level, and nonprofit organization personnel as well as parents/parent leaders with high quality, relevant, and useful trainings and information on parent involvement. The goal of the Symposium is to translate leading-edge parental involvement research into practical strategies that can be implemented to increase and improve parental involvement practices statewide, especially for educationally and economically challenged populations. The 2010 Symposium Parents and School: The Necessary Conspiracy will feature James P. Comer.
