Introducing an innovative way to expand your knowledge of ABA! New online webinars are now available through Florida Tech PDP ABA Online program and ABA Technologies, Inc. These webinars are most appropriate for  anyone seeking to expand their understanding of the practice of behavioral analysis; including but not limited to: parents, teachers, behavior analysts, psychologists, social workers, counselors, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, individuals who work or live with persons with special needs, students seeking their degree in behavioral analysis or psychology, and students seeking their BACB® or BCaBA® certification.  These webinars are offered completely online in two different formats.

“BEHP 1010: Ethical and Legal Considerations for the Behavior Analysis Practitioner”
August 16th through August 22nd
In this webinar students will explore the ethical and legal considerations in the practice of behavior analysis. Topics discussed will include regulatory, disciplinary and professional standards, and ethical issues relevant to client services.  Particular emphasis will be placed on standards of professional practice dictated by the BACB® Guidelines for Responsible Conduct and the BACB® Ethical Considerations Task list. Case scenarios will be utilized to demonstrate principles and facilitate understanding of the webinar material.  Students do not need to purchase resources; all webinar materials are provided.
“BEHP 1012: It Is Not All About Reinforcement or Is It? Discriminating between Motivating Operations and Discriminative Stimuli: A Conceptual Analysis of the Operant Four-term Contingency”
September 12th, 10:00am
Discriminating between motivating operations (MOs) and discriminative stimuli is a critical skill that can make the difference between designing effective or ineffective interventions. Unfortunately, many have found the topic obtuse or daunting. This presentation provides explicit instruction on the topic by using every day examples and other heuristic techniques. The difference between MOs related to reinforcement and MOs related to punishment, and the difference between unconditioned MOs and the various types of conditioned MOs will be emphasized.
The cost of these webinars is $42.00 for the video session or broadcast session and $12.00 for the discussion session.  For current information on available webinars, and direct links to register, visit http://uc.fit.edu/pdp/programs/aba/ceu.php.
